Anxiety and Depression on the Rise

You already know the pandemic has taken a toll on how your employees feel. Many are experiencing burnout, increased stress, anxiety and depression.

We also know that numbers matter when making decisions about health benefits, so here is some sobering data: according to National Center for Health Statistics and Census Bureau, more than ⅓ of adults reported experiencing anxiety or depression or both during the period May 2020 - March 2021. That’s roughly a 4x increase compared to the period January 2019- June 2019.

Woah.

And there are real concerns that the deterioration in mental health will linger long after the COVID pandemic wanes.

Employers are listening and acting, offering emotional well-being benefits to support their employees, who need emotional support now more than ever.

Please join Lovitt and Touché/MMA’s HR Wellness Roundtable on Thursday April 22nd at 9:30am for a timely session to discuss some potential solutions, and be introduced to M2 Well-Being’s virtual resources that can help employees manage stress and anxiety. In addition, you will experience a short session yourself to get a feel for one of the workshops available.

Please RSVP by sending an email to: ethorpe@lovitt-touche.com.
